Old Man Winter has a great grip on all of us in the Northern Hemisphere this year, and boy is it cold! I made the mistake of going out in the late evening without a cap or scarf last week. It had been warmer during the day, so I just didn't think. And sure enough, I have a cold. Do you know how many years it's been since I've had a cold or flu? Neither do I, it's been that long. So I'm hoping I can contain this at home and get better without the need to see my doctor.

I have to admit, though, I do love beautiful fresh snow on everything. It is very pretty and there's a relax feeling to it. But cold air? It's suppose to drop to 12 degrees tonight with a lot of snow fall, and by Monday, it'll be 3 degrees. We've seen lower this year, but it doesn't mean I want to go out into it!
