Wow! It's great to be back in the saddle again!

After resting, getting somethings completed, and watching "Attack On Titan" every weekend, (now I have to download the other episodes that I've missed), I'm ready to get back to business.

I only have one important group message before we start the challenge: We Need A Feature Moderator!!

This group Moderator is the staff member who prepares the feature the weekly theme resources and photomanipulations. You'll have theheek to help you, but I need someone as lead. Please let me know right away that you are interested in taking the position.

OUR CURRENT COLOR THEME CHALLENGE

Since Summer is slowly letting go, and Autumn is gently taking over, I thought it would be a good time to go ahead and do Autumn colors before October. So this will be an extended challenge, almost like a contest would be.

Let's Create Some Wonderful Autumn Theme Art!

The name of the challenge is "The Days Of Orange". In your entry, any tone of orange should be the main focal point of the image. That really means, whatever direction you want to go, the color orange should be predominant.Your entry should be more about the color "orange", than it is for anything else.

Look at my four examples below on ways you can approach this challenge:

The first is an abstract landscape. The next two are examples of a sorceress in the woods, one is a fairy on a fantasy background, and the last is conceptual.

So you see, your orange can be light, dark, golden, even brownish. Mix and match tones, no matter which direction you decide to go and the image you want to create

OBJECTIVE

Our objective this month is to incorporate our primary color, orange, with other tones of orange to create a landscape , an conceptual image, or abstract, or fantasy entry.

EXPECTATIONS

This challenge is a long one running from today, September 8th, through September 28th. The date is wrong on the challenge banner, but I will correct that as soon as I'm done here.

Be sure to keep track of the challenge dates on the Countdown Clock. I'll keep you inform on deviantArt, particular anything in the photomanipulation community, and will remind you at that time.

Please use at least "4" additional stock to make your main image look interesting. NO simple main stock om a background stock. Becaise

You must create your own background. HOWEVER, if you download a pre-made background from a legitimate stock provider, such as FairieGoodMother, you can. Still, make that she is creating the background you want from her own photos, etc. Otherwise, NO PRE-MADE BACKGROUNDS!!

And, as always, no painting over stock, and, please, do not do any spectacular light shows that will take over your basic image.

Why? Yes, they make everyone go "ooooh" and "awww". You'll also find me going ooooh and awww myself! But, not every photomanipulator knows how to do that process, nor wants to. I don't how, so I can't teach it. And as hectic as my life is, I really don't have time to learn. Besides, you want viewers to see your entire art image. Not just the bright lights.

Remember to refrain from using elements that are not part of the group's policies. I'm sorry, since members think the information gets too "wordy", you'll have to find out on your own by linking to the group policies.

Watch for your light source. If there is light, there must be shadow behind.
